May 2026 Progress Report

So, the kiddos are home now. Not to say they’re as distracting at age 17 as they were at age 7, but they are. Just not in the same way.

The SOP flip card project is moving forward. I’m running it through the second romance novel now, and adding new cards for each individual step. Yes, I know there are resources for indies, but my situation is such that I really need a flip book with one step on each page. I just need to break things down into micro-steps, so I’m not overwhelmed and depending on memory, every time.

One of the joys of not having spare money or mental bandwidth.

Anyhoo, I’m hoping to have the second romance book formatted and mostly ready to go by the end of summer, but not live published until next year.

My son really enjoyed my fantasy novel (Heralds of Change, book 1 of the Heritage Blood Saga – go buy it now wherever you buy print or digital books!), so that gives me hope that I might actually have some ability to tell a story. It’s just the backstage mechanics that I have to really work on. Hence, the SOP flipbook.
