Wednesday Word 2025: Rawgabbit

I cannot promise how, where or when these words were used, if ever. I simply find them delightful, and want to share.

RAWGABBIT

A person who speaks confidently about something, which they know nothing about.

I’ll just throw out some of the gems I’ve heard recently:

It can’t be that hard to do! You make costumes all the time!

I do NOT understand why my child is not yet independently proficient at piano! Clearly your instructors are lacking! (the kid has been taking one 30 minute lesson a week for one year)

Your voice instructor doesn’t understand how to teach–he told me I MIGHT be able to notice an increase in my vocal range in 3 months! It shouldn’t take that long!

My 13 year old has natural perfect pitch.

I saw A documentary about it on the “Used To Be About History Channel.”
