FINIFUGAL
An adjective describing one who is afraid of finishing, or in some other way completing, something.
This . . . Hits uncomfortably close to home. I mean, I don’t *think* it’s my problem, but I do have a lot of unfinished projects just lying about.
I’m pretty sure I’m not afraid of finishing them, except for maybe the books–why it’s taking so long is definitely in part the raw fear of just releasing them into the wild. I know you’re not supposed to look at the negative reviews, because you can’t be everyone’s favorite, but I think that’s a big factor dogging my steps.
That, and just regular life getting in the way.
