The Word for 2024

With 2023 rapidly coming to an end, I realize I need to select a new word for 2024.

2023’s word was “Focus.”

I suppose it did and did not work out. I focused enough to make steps in the right direction towards publishing.my work, but it feels like I could’ve done so much more.

Isn’t that always how it is, though?

I swear, if I didn’t need to sleep, and I didn’t have a few mental/emotional difficulties, and I didn’t have to do things like put the kids first, I would probably get more done.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!

That’s hilarious. I know me. “More” is relative.

This past year I started venturing out of my hole to occasionally “people.” I took care of a medium project for the house and started a large one. I didn’t get fired from Job A. I completed a number of crafty projects, and of course added more to the list. But the crafty list is smaller now, despite the additions.

I suppose that’s progress.

I think that’ll be the word for 2024: Progress.

Every little step forward is progress.

    Progress ?
Time for writing’s precious, kids need so much .
Understand, now, why my friend booked a log cabin in Lapland, in November, to complete a book.
